Keep Film Problems Off Your Cutting Line
A finished stainless steel panel should earn its value—not create extra work because of the film covering it. We bring laser-specific protection, removal checks and custom roll widths together to address the film concerns behind your next order.
Film lifting around piercing points is a frustrating reason to stop a job. Our laser cutting protective film is made for stainless steel processing with Fiber and CO₂ lasers, combining a PE backing and water-based acrylic adhesive at a total thickness of 70 μm. Choose protection designed for the cutting operation, not just for storage and delivery.
A film that shifts or tears during sheet preparation creates more handling work. Our laser film combines acrylic adhesion with a PE backing specified for strength in both directions. Film checks also cover flat edges, surface smoothness and adhesive ooze—details that matter when you unwind, laminate and handle covered sheets.
Adhesive marks turn a finished panel into another cleaning job. We include adhesive residue in our film removal checks: after 48 hours at 60°C and a 30-minute cooldown, the film must peel away without residual glue. Bring your stainless steel finish into the sample conversation, so removal gets attention from the start.
The wrong roll width adds trimming to a job that already has enough steps. We offer custom slitting for your sheet width and lamination setup, with roll lengths from 100 to 3,600 metres. Get the film format your line needs, instead of adapting your preparation around a stock roll.

Protective Film for Fiber and CO₂ Laser Cutting
Keep your stainless steel finish covered at the cutting stage. Plashield laser cutting protective film is designed for both Fiber and CO₂ applications, giving you a dedicated film option whether you run one laser type or source materials for a mixed workshop.
For Your Fiber Laser Jobs
Bring surface protection into your Fiber laser material order. We supply film for cutting stainless steel with the protective layer in place, so your purchase covers the processing stage—not just delivery to the cutting table. Sample the film on the stainless steel finish and sheet thickness you actually use.
For Your CO₂ Laser Jobs
Running a CO₂ laser? Our stainless steel laser film also covers this application. You can discuss both laser types with us when sourcing for different machines. Match the sample to each cutting setup, including piercing and assist-gas settings, before moving to a production order.

Surface Protection for the Parts You Make
Your customers see the finished part, not just the accuracy of the cut. Our laser cutting protective film keeps surface protection in the picture when stainless steel sheets become visible panels, kitchen components and equipment covers.
Different drawings, nested parts and repeat orders put finished surfaces through frequent handling. For stainless steel blanks with profiles, slots and mounting holes, our film provides a protective layer during cutting and subsequent handling. Keep the visible face covered as parts move from the sheet to the next workstation.
Elevator door skins, decorative panels and interior trim leave little room to hide a handling mark. These jobs combine visible stainless steel faces with cut edges and openings. Our laser film brings protection to the sheet-cutting stage, where preserving the purchased finish matters as much as producing the required shape.
Counter panels, cabinet fronts and equipment side panels need openings for fittings and assembly without losing attention to appearance. Use laser cutting film to protect the surrounding stainless steel face while these features are cut. The focus is the panel your customer will see, not only the opening you need to make.
Access panels and machine covers often combine ventilation slots, fastener holes and component cutouts in one part. Our film covers the stainless steel face during laser processing and handling before assembly, helping you keep surface protection alongside the dimensional requirements of the job.

Order Laser Film in the Roll Format You Need
Buying for your own cutting shop or supplying film to sheet processors? We supply custom slit rolls with the dimensions and packaging details agreed for your order, so purchasing, receiving and production work from the same specification.
Slit Widths for Your Sheets
Order laser cutting film at the width your sheet coverage requires. We offer custom slitting within the available roll width, whether you need material for full-width sheets or narrower workpieces. Your quoted width becomes part of the order specification, alongside roll length and core requirements—not a detail left for your operators to resolve at the laminator.
Roll Formats for Your Lamination Setup
Choose the roll length for your equipment’s loading capacity and handling routine, with a PE core available on request. We agree packaging requirements with you and identify the product, specification, production date and shelf life on core and carton labels. That gives your receiving team clear information for checking deliveries and organizing stock before rolls reach production.
Protective Film Manufacturing Since 2005
Buy your laser cutting film from a manufacturer that understands the surface underneath it. Our manufacturing experience dates back to 2005, with our own production facilities and a product range serving stainless steel, coated metal and other industrial surfaces. We bring that experience to the film you order—not just the roll you receive.
Work directly with us on the film construction and supply specification. Our manufacturing background covers PE surface protection for different materials and production processes, so the conversation starts with your stainless steel finish and cutting job, not simply a choice of roll sizes.
Across our protective film range, we tailor adhesive strength and thickness to the surface and application. For your laser film order, we bring the dedicated film specification together with custom slitting and agreed roll formats. You can discuss the product and its converting requirements with the same manufacturer.
Film quality includes the parts you notice when opening and using a roll: flat edges, a smooth surface, no foreign particles and no adhesive ooze. Our laser film specification also limits telescoping to 1 mm and defines thickness, adhesion, tensile strength and elongation requirements. Your purchase has concrete quality criteria behind it.

Laser Cutting Film FAQ
Can you laser cut stainless steel with protective film on?
Yes—use a protective film designed for laser cutting, rather than assuming any film on the sheet is suitable. Our laser film is intended for stainless steel processing with the film in place. Run a sample using your actual surface finish and cutting setup before starting the full job.
Can the same protective film be used with Fiber and CO₂ lasers
Some laser films support both technologies; others are made for a specific laser type. Our stainless steel laser cutting film is specified for Fiber and CO₂ applications. For a workshop using both, test the film on each setup rather than carrying machine settings or sample results from one process to the other.
Why does protective film bubble during laser cutting?
Bubbles can form when the film loses contact with the sheet during piercing or cutting. Adhesion, surface cleanliness, lamination and the cutting conditions are relevant checks. Laser films must handle the laser interaction and cutting-gas pressure. Review film suitability and application first; changing laser power alone is not a complete solution.
How do I remove protective film after laser cutting?
Let the part cool to a safe handling temperature, then lift a corner and peel steadily. Our film must be applied and removed at temperatures no higher than 70°C; this is not a recommended heating temperature. If removal becomes difficult or leaves marks, stop and contact us before using heat or solvents.
Can standard stainless steel protective film replace laser cutting film?
Not unless that specific film is suitable for your laser process. Storage and handling protection does not establish laser-cutting compatibility. For jobs without laser cutting, explore our stainless steel protective film options. For cutting with the film in place, choose a laser grade matched to your material and equipment.
